CHANGING WORKING PRACTICES IN THE OUTBREAK OF COVID-19
The 4th outbreak of COVID-19 in Vietnam has caused a lot of impacts on individuals, organizations, and communities. Especially in Ho Chi Minh City, the pandemic has been progressing complicatedly as the Government has announced social distancing from the end of May 2021 until now.
The city in general, and in particular, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine (PNTU), is facing many challenges during the pandemic. CECICS is no exception as we are in the process of supplementing documents at the request of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) to prepare for the upcoming Virtual interview.
To properly implement the principles of pandemic prevention and control as directed and ensure the progress of work, the Director of CECICS has assigned specific tasks for all staff, also limiting working in the office, optimizing online work through MS Teams, Skype, Email…
With direct instructions from Professor Ho Hoi and support from the School Board of Manager, CECICS is still making great efforts in our goal of achieving the SSH Accreditation. Online meetings with Prof. Ho Hoi are still organized regularly according to the schedule, with the attendance of all CECICS staff, Faculty Development Unit (FDU), and Tran Thi To Quyen, MD, Teacher of Internal Medicine. The content of the latest online meeting on July 7th, 2021, focused on measures to improve learners’ active learning, assessment methods during the COVID-19 pandemic, and some preparation for the SSH onsite review.
