WORKSHOP “RUN AND EVALUATE OSCE SCENARIOS USING HIGH-FIDELITY SIMULATOR (SIMMOM)”

On April 26th, 2022, CECICS cooperated with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine (PNTU), to successfully organize the workshop “Run and evaluate OSCE scenarios using high-fidelity simulator (SimMom)” . The workshop was chaired by Professor Hoi Ho, MD – Director of the Collaborative Educational Program between PNTU and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, El Paso (TTUHSC El Paso).

Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuong Thu, Director of CECICS, is giving the opening speech for the workshop.

In this workshop, faculties of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology conducted simulation scenarios on 1-year residents, using a high-fidelity simulation simulator called SimMom. The simulation session was held under the supervision of Professor Hoi Ho.

Dr. Tran Thi Ngoc Phuong, faculties of Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is conducting a Pre-briefing session.
Dr. Banh Kieu Vi, 1-year resident, is performing Active management of third stage of labour.
The Debriefing session of the simulation.
Professor Hoi Ho is evaluating and giving suggestions for the simulation session.

The workshop was also attended by representatives of Internal Medicine, Surgery, and Pediatrics departments to learn experiences and receive valuable instructions from Professor Hoi Ho. These are Departments that plan to implement simulation scenarios at CECICS in the near future.
